Bouncing Bitmaps! was written by Jonathan Marler, who also created and maintains the Bouncing Bitmaps! website.
I am an independent contractor working with Starion Computers. I also do contract work for Multi-Media Network Solutions in Garland, Texas.
I have been working with PC systems for 13 years, and as a result have a great deal of experience with legacy systems. I have worked on a wide range of systems from the Commodore VIC20 / 64 all the way to today's multi-processor Intel systems.
Currently I write PC software in Microsoft Visual Basic and Borland's Delphi. I chose to migrate to Delphi after learning exactly how much more powerful Delphi is as a development tool than Visual Basic. I used Delphi to write the Bouncing Bitmaps! screen saver because of it's multi-threading capabilities, and native code compiler.
I am currently working on 2 other applications in Delphi, which should be finished towards the end of 1996 or the beginning of 1997. These applications are designed for use with the Internet and supply functionality currently not available in the shareware market.
